Lifesave Backups - Saving you from disaster

About

We Have A Long History In Information Technology

Lifesaver Backups is a trading name of the Sydney based website design & development company Net Grow Pty Ltd (www.netgrow.com.au).

Over the last 7 years, Net Grow has dealt with clients all over Australia and in the course of building and maintaining websites we have heard many stories where people have lost all or part of their data, or sometimes even their livelihood when the key information of their business has been lost.

We have had situations where customers have been religiously backing up their data, only to find that when they came to access it in an emergency, that something went wrong and it simply "was not there".

We have had customers tell us of situations where all their business information, quotes, prices and financial details were on their laptop and then the laptop has been stolen.

Dealing in the area of information ourselves, you can only imagine the impact when the customer tells you that they cannot chase outstanding invoices, monitor stock, track orders and even locate emails to resolve a customer service issue. "Insurance covers the equipment." they will tell you - "But what about my data?"

After having many customers come to us with similar situations, and knowing how much pressure and turmoil losing data can cause, research was done to find the best and most effective method to help avoid this.

With the experience in IT gained through having been involved in many areas as it has evolved, we at Net Grow could see that speed of the hardware and software now available made it viable to transfer large amounts of data swiftly and securely to a site away from your business where it can be available to you should fire, theft, equipment failure or other catastrophe befall your business.

Just as you pay insurance, and never hope to use it, you could buy new equipment and reset up. But if you lost that data that you have accumulated over the years, how would you cope? We couldn't stand the stories any longer, and that's why Lifesaver Backups was launched.

After dealing closely with businesses over the last 7 years, it became apparent that customers generally had their own areas of expertise, but when faced with the chore of ensuring their intellectual property and computer files were secure, we were getting customers who had lost everything or were looking at months of work to recreate data as they went to restore a backup and found that the procedure had failed and they were left floundering.  With new technology we looked for the safest most comprehensive solution to this.  Money cannot replace or substitute for losing the “mind” of your business.
